Feria del Agricultor:
The farmers market is located in Barrio Santa Teresa, and has a wide variety of fruits, vegtables, and traditional foods. This market is only open on Saturdays and Sundays until noon.

Mercado Central:
The central market is located downtown in Barrio Mercedes. Here you can buy clothes, shoes, and other items, as well as enjoy regional food and drink. The market is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sundays until noon. The food area was recently remodeled, providing a pleasant and hygienic dining experience.

Mercado Santa Teresa:
Also in Barrio Santa Teresa, you will find Mercado Santa Teresa, an indoor market which offers a diverse selection of exotic fruits and vegetables as well as other foods. This market is open Monday thru Saturday from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sundays until noon.

STREET VENDORS

Every afternoon and evening, on the corner of the central park by Banco de Occidente, you will find a group of women selling bread, deserts, nacatamales, tamales de elote, and montucas. Until noon, at various locations downtown, you can also purchase tortillas with cuajada and the typical atol chuco. Another group of vendors, Los Acurrucados, sell coffee, baleadas, pastelitos and nacatamales during the afternoons and evenings one block from the cathedral. And at night, around the cathedral and central park, you will find stands selling carne asada and baleadas.
