REFRIED BEANS
Refried beans are a staple of Honduran cuisine, and are used both in many dishes and as a part of plato tipico, the traditional Honduran meal.

Ingredients:
3 cups of cooked red or black beans
1/2 cup of oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, and pepper in the oil. In a blender, mix the beans and vegetables until well blended. Let sit 1/2 hour to cool.
